Well, the Niebuhr triplets have been home for two and a half weeks now, and for mom and dad, it's been a sleepless two and a half weeks. Luckily, we have lots of friends, family and church members to help us out! We have the babies on a schedule of eating every 3 hours during the day, and 4 hours at night. For the most part, they sleep between feedings, although there are times when they are wide awake. Those times, they hang out with mom and dad and do whatever they're doing, reading, watching tv, etc. They get a bath every three days, and they hate it! But, they sure are clean and good smelling afterwards! They're still on home monitors, and have had some apnea episodes, but they are getting fewer and fewer as they grow.

Our next pediatrician appointment is Friday the 24th. We'll know then how much more weight they've gained. Three weeks ago, Will was 5 lbs 5 oz, Xander was 4 lbs 9 oz and Grace was 4 lbs 15 oz. They've gained a lot since then and it wouldn't surprise us if Will was close to 7 lbs and the others weren't far behind. They're not fitting into preemie clothes and diapers anymore. We've started putting them in newborn sizes. Those are a little big, but at the rate we're growing they won't be too big for long.
