Baptism!

We were baptized at church on Sunday! They were so good throughout the whole service, they didn't cry once while they were being baptized. We had lunch at church with all our family, friends and their sponsors afterwards. We were all exhausted when we got home, but it was a great day.

Top: A picture of them after church in the outfits they were wearing. Children's Place has the cutest clothes!

Middle: A family picture from that day.

Bottom: The triplets with their new godparents. From left: Jason and Jessi Petersen, Xander's godparents. Hilary Koso and Mike Wiese (who couldn't be there) are Will's godparents, and Tim and Marsha Artz and their daughter Emily are Grace's godparents.

We've had so many big days lately, that I think we'll take it easy for a while. They are finally off the monitors and are VERY close to sleeping through the night. They will sleep about 7 hours at a stretch, which is fantastic for mom and dad. They are still eating very well. We went to the doctor today for our final Synagis shot. Will weighed 12 lbs 13 oz., Xander was 12 lbs 10 oz. and Grace is still the smallest at 11 lbs 10 oz. They are smiling lots and starting to interact and play with toys. They have been enjoying playing peek-a-boo with grandma and grandpa. We've been getting out of the house a lot, going places and taking walks. It is so wonderful not to have to lug those stupid monitors everywhere we go. I'll post again with news after our 4 month check up on May 8th.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to you all! We hope you had an enjoyable weekend. It was a fun first easter with the triplets. We went to the late church service, then had lunch with my family and dinner with Brian's family. They got lots of Easter baskets, although we did not do an egg hunt. Maybe next year! They looked cute in their new outfits, and got lots of ooh's and aah's at church. They behaved very well during church, too. They slept through it all. It was a big day. They got home and slept well that evening.

On Monday, LPS had a teacher work day with no students, so we went and visited my school and then grandma's Pam's school. They got held by a lot of people that day. Monday night was another good night. They slept from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. I guess these outings tire them out more than I realized. Today, Tuesday, is a quiet day. No big trips or places to go. They will probably sleep all day! I'll post pictures next week of their baptism.

Sunday, April 9, 2006

Sorry it's been so long since the last update. We've been very busy around here. Now that spring is here, we are getting out and about more. We've been going on walks, taking shopping trips to the grocery store, Target and the mall, and we even took them to church for the first time. We've also just been spending time outside, sitting on the front porch or roaming around in the neighborhood. Our across the street neighbor had a little girl 8 days after us, so we've been spending the nice days chatting in the shade with all the babies!

They are starting to be more awake and interactive. We've been getting some smiles and they are definitely more wiggly. They still eat a ton, and have been sleeping for longer stretches at night, sometimes 5 or 6 hours, sometimes. There are still bad nights, here and there, but overall it is getting better. We have been consistently dropped a night feeding for the last several nights, so I think we are getting very close to sleeping through the night (which I cannot wait for!!).

Here are some pictures of them from the last week, along with some pictures of what we have been doing lately, and who has visited. We will be celebrating our first Easter next weekend, so I'll post pictures of them in their Easter outfits on Monday. We are also having them baptized on April 23rd, so I'll post about that too. Happy Spring!
