If you can believe it, Will, Xander and Grace turned 10 in January! I can hardly believe it. It was a Friday and we celebrated that night by going to my dad's office holiday party! We did get them a big cookie and as you know, we will have parties this summer. I'll post more soon about each of them at 10 years old, they are turning into great little people!

On our way! Saturday, October 17
We're on our way to Disney World! Our flight was on Southwest from Kansas City. We packed up and headed down for our mid-afternoon take-off. We ate lunch on the way down and had some time to kill in the airport. The kids were so excited! All 6 of them had never been on a plane before. We got through security fine and waited patiently. The flight to Orlando was full and was probably the noisiest flight I had ever been on! The kids had a ball! It was late when we got there and we hadn't eaten dinner and we ended up waiting forever for a bus to the resort. It was about 10 when we got there but we decided to eat dinner anyway because we were all hungry! We got the kids to bed and made plans to get up early the next morning for Magic Kingdom!
Sunday, October 18
Our first day at the parks and the longest and most tiring! I think we walked at least 5 miles this day! But the kids were full of energy and had a ton of fun. We hit up all the main rides at Magic Kingdom that you need to Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Small World, Space Mountain and the teacups! We took lots of pictures, at lots of food and had a lot of fun. What a neat place! The kids were hot and tired when we got back to the hotel but everyone slept well
Monday, October 19
Boy, what a day Monday was! It was Epcot day! Epcot is huge and seems like it never ends - and we walked through almost all of it!! We started the day on a fun ride called Soarin' and saw Turtle Talk with Crush the turtle from Finding Nemo and did a kid favorite, Test Track. We waited in line for a while to see Mickey, Minnie and Goofy and got lots of nice pictures with them. We hung around in the afternoon at the Food and Wine festival and let the kids play while we waited for our reservations for dinner at a German buffet. The bottom picture is with our waitress who was from Germany. She was sweet and the food was good. There was even a polka band! After dinner, we were just in time for the fireworks/laser show that was neat then, exhausted, we headed back to the hotel!
