The triplets turned 9 months old on Sunday! To celebrate, they spent the night with grandma and grandpa Niebuhr on Saturday night, giving mom and dad an evening and night off (much needed. We hadn't gone out to a restaurant since the beginning of September!) A good night's sleep is why daddy looks so happy in this picture, taken on Sunday. We had a good report at the doctor's office. No shots, just a finger poke. Will had only gained a little weight, he was 21 lbs 8 oz (60th percentile). Xander was 20 lbs 6 oz (50th percentile) and Grace was 17 lbs 5 oz (25th percentile). Their height was good, but they are all still in the 50th percentile or below in their length. Xander is almost 2 inches taller than Grace. We got a visit from Erin's grandparents today, Bill and Betty. We hadn't seen them since mid-August, so it was good to visit and play with them. We broke out the sweatshirts and warm clothes for the cool weather this week. Not much outside playing this week, I think.

Top: Will "reading" a book. He loves to play with books. If there is a whole pile of toys in front of him, he will choose the book, unless the yellow bucket is there.
