We had a nice Christmas this year. The weather cooperated, which was nice! The Hoefs did Christmas eve this year. We went to our church to the 5:30 service. Kara, Brian, Dad and I did some Mannheim Steamroller arrangements for the service. It was nice. We got back to mom and dad's around 7 and had soup and sandwiches (a Christmas eve tradition!) then did presents. We kept the kids out until almost 10 that night, but they were so excited they didn't seem to care! When we got home we made a plate of cookies for Santa with 9 carrots for the reindeer (1 for Rudolph, too, of course!) and a glass of milk. Then, Santa and Mrs. Claus spent some time putting together scooters and laying out presents (thankfully everything was already wrapped!) I'll cover Christmas day in another post!
