First snow of the season

Will's car is stuck. I told him not to try to drive in the snow....

So, it snowed for the first time last week, and we decided to take advantage of the lazy morning and go outside and play. It was freezing, the wind was really blowing and it was a little icy, so we didn't stay out for very long. It took me way longer to get everyone dressed up warm than it took us to play outside. In fact, Xander didn't like the wind and pretty much stayed in the garage. He was also mad about not being able to use his hands right with his gloves on. So, only after about 10 minutes, we came inside. We made some hot chocolate and enjoyed it at the kitchen table while warming up. It would be nice to have a heavy, wet snow that would be good for making snowmen or sledding. Maybe that will happen sometime this December.
