We didn't have anything planned for this day, except to drive home. Our check-out time at the cabin was 10 am, so by 9, we were ready to go. 10 hours later (and losing an hour back into central time) we were home! Everyone was really glad to be back!
We saw something out our cabin window about 8 am that we were hoping to avoid. A bear. Luckily, the YMCA staff had already been notified because a white truck (which appeared right after I snapped this picture) was following it and it eventually left the grounds without incident. Scary!
"Goodbye YMCA, mountains and Colorado. We had a great time! Maybe we'll be back agains someday!"
