Last Friday was the annual Husker marching band demonstration that we've gone to for the past 2 years. We were supposed to watch our nephews that night, but Grace had a case of pink eye that kept her home from school, so Lisa opted not to have the boys around us (wise choise, I think. That stuff is so contagious. Grace was the last one to get it. Will had it twice, Xander once in the weeks before). But, since the weather was sooooo gorgeous (70's and no humidity) and Grace promised not to touch her eyes (and I kept dousing her hands with Purell), we decided to go. We met Brian at Panera and ate dinner then walked to the stadium. It was a nice night, lots of people. The kids always enjoy this and it's their only time all season to get to be in the stadium!
