June fun!

Sorry for so few posts lately. I am FINALLY done with my class and now we can get down to having a few weeks of summer! We have been so busy, but we've been doing a lot of fun things lately with the kids' birthday parties and the 4th of July. Here's some pictures of what we were up to in June.

 The baby bunnies under our swing set. They're gone now, probably eating all my plants and flowers in my garden.

 Here are some pictures of the boys having a light saber fight in the backyard. The obsession with super heroes and Star Wars continues. In fact, they were in heaven on the 4th of July. The weather was super hot (over 100), so we stayed inside in the afternoon. Spiderman 1 and 2 were on TV in the afternoon, and we let them watch part of them. Then, when we got to Kara and Wes' house for dinner, Star Wars was on TV. We could hardly tear Will away for fireworks and dinner!

 Here is Grace keeping score of the light saber fight. I don't know how she came up with her scoring system, but Xander won!

Our friend Curt was nice enough to come over and install a new kitchen faucet for us (the old one had lots of problems and leaked!). Will was so delighted to help him. Curt took Will to Lowe's with him and Will was his dutiful assistant. Here's Will examining the rusted faucet!
